Refund Policy
ALL ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. We do not allow returns/exchanges/substitutions/cancellations/refunds.
If you experience an issue with your order, please email us at ancross_author@yahoo.com within 7 days of receipt. Please include the order number, name used to place the order, and photos. (Responses to emails received outside of 7 days since your tracking number shows your order arrived at the shipping address will be at the discretion of the Ashley Cross Author)
We cannot accommodate cancellations/refunds due to changes of heart/financial circumstances/panic buying.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Special Editions are a specialized product with details regarding design shared in advance. Slight color variations may occur due to screen lighting differences and are not considered blemishes, damage, or errors. As with regular shop orders, issues must be brought to our attention within 7 days of receipt.
Merch Boxes are a specialized product with details regarding design and materials shared in advance. As such, merch boxes are sold as-is and substitutions are not allowed. As with regular shop orders, issues must be brought to our attention within 7 days of receipt.
In the rare case that we approve a one-time return/exchange/replacement, you will be responsible for any re-shipping fees, as well as the cost to ship the original item back to Ashley Cross Replacement items will not be sent until the original item is received and inspected. Resolution may include the offer/issue of a e-Gift card in the amount of the original purchase price, minus shipping charges.
We do our best to inspect every product for damage/imperfections when it comes in from the vendor/supplier and again before it leaves the shop. Ashley Cross Author is not responsible for any lost and/or damaged packages. However if this does occur, you are able to file a claim with the shipping carrier used. Please note, you are responsible for providing all necessary documentation i.e. tracking number, damaged item(s) and packaging, proof of purchase, etc. to that shipping carrier. Once a claim is filed, the carrier is responsible for reimbursing you for any lost/or damaged items/packages, not Ashley Cross Author.
Due to limited inventory of merchandise, order replacement may not always be possible should items get lost or damaged in transit/delivery. Replacements for items lost or damaged in transit/delivery are at the customer's expense and Ashley Cross Author's discretion.
Any return shipping labels issued expire within 30 days, at which point, any and all shipping fees become your responsibility and will not be refunded by Ashley Cross.
If your order is returned to us as non-deliverable (due to incorrect address, incorrect info, customer was not available for delivery, etc), we will offer to re-ship in-stock items at your expense.
International customers are responsible for all VAT, tariffs, taxes, Delivered At Place (DAP), and/or fees associated with their country/region, and Ashley Cross will not refund/return any fees associated/affiliated with those orders, including packages that have been refused by the customer (you) and abandoned by the carrier. Please refer to the most recent VAT rates for your specific country/region.
Apparel: All apparel is unisex sizing. Please refer to the size charts before purchasing. If you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up as we do not allow exchanges.
Drinkware*: According to the manufacturer, all ceramic mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise noted.
For travel mugs, water bottles, pint glasses, wine glasses, and other drinkware, please refer to the manufacturer's care instructions included with the product.
*Per our Terms of Service (Products), we do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors will be corrected. Ashley Cross unfortunately cannot accommodate return/refund requests for used products of any kind, including but not limited to, those that display signs of normal wear and tear.
BOOK DAMAGE CRITERIA
We check all items when they come in from our vendors and again before shipping them. However, if you receive the wrong book or the book you received is truly damaged, please email us with your order number, and submit photos of your invoice and the book damage, packing material used, and the packaging (all sides) it arrived in within 7 days of receipt and we will do our best to resolve it. If you throw out the packaging before submitting photos, we will be unable to assist you.
Resolution may include a Gift Card in the amount of purchase and/or a help with filing a damage claim with the shipping carrier. Please refer to the criteria below to determine if a book meets our book damage criteria before reaching out.

Wrinkles – minor on a paperback or Special Edition hardcover spine

Hardcovers/Special Editions– These covers are made with a material that is slightly pliable which may show slight scratches, scuff marks, minimal creasing and/or slight impressions/pinch marks at the top and/or bottom (this happens when the book a opened). This is to be expected and is not considered damage.

Paperbacks - minimal creasing and/or slight impressions. Please note: Paperback spines may be slightly curved/not perfectly straight as a result of the binding process or due to being opened in order for Ashley Cross to sign them.

Slightly wavy or folded pages
*If a book does not qualify as damaged based on the criteria listed above, you may request an exchange. IF your request is approved, the cost of return shipping will be at your expense and will not be refunded by Ashley Cross. You will only be refunded the original purchase price (this does not include the original shipping cost).
